Ed Gill is a licensed business coach and founder of Bestpath Business Coaching. He has more than 25 years of frontline business experience in the areas of operations, customer fulfillment, sales, safety and maintenance in the logistics and transportation industry. Ed also has experience leading many projects in the corporate sector including software implementation, strategic business planning, safety improvements and financial turn-around.

Ed founded his own transportation company at the age of 23 and after five years of consistent profitable growth, sold the company and incorporated into a larger organization. Prior to founding Bestpath Business Coaching, he was the Vice President of an 80 million dollar logistics and transportation company in the Mid-west. In this capacity, he was directly involved with a significant profit enhancement program that lead to many other successes for the company. He worked with each department by educating them on the current benchmark, establishing goals, and building tactical plans for accomplishing those goals. By providing the people with measurements of the effectiveness their work was having on the goal, excitement built, innovation flowed and positive results followed.

It is from this experience and a deep desire to help people learn to be more effective in their work that lead Ed to start Bestpath in 2006. Ed spent two years learning the best business methods and practices.

Ed also believes that everyone desires to produce, but often need better decision-making tools and processes. To that end, Ed works with those who are often on the front lines, gleaning insight from them and then partners with upper management on building a program that will lead to success.

Ed believes that approaching business excellence from a holistic position is the only sure way to build an excellent company. Each person in a company must understand their role and the effect it has to build true interdependency.

Ed, his wife, Justine, and their son, Austin reside in Noblesville, IN. The family is active in their church, Crossroads Church in Westfield, IN, and is involved in mission work on the east side of Indianapolis. Justine is active in the women's programs and Austin plays guitar in the church band.

Ed is also a trained coach and facilitator for the Ken Blanchard program "Lead Like Jesus", as well as with Crown Ministries. Ed and his wife, Justine, also facilitate weekly roundtables for business people based on the work of the LaRed Foundation. These roundtables study lessons from Proverbs and discuss how to make them applicable to our everyday lives.
